Named after the ridge behind the studio where the hemlocks stand so close together you can barely squeeze through. The vertical lines in this piece are those trunks.
— I used a palette knife for most of this one — wanted those sharp, jagged strokes that feel like bark. The dark wash over the top ties it together like the shadow line at sunset.

Machine wash cold inside out. Tumble dry low. No bleach. Iron on reverse.
