“The forest speaks, I just paint what I see.”

The Hand Behind the Myth

Growing up in the moss-drenched shadows of the Cascades, I never looked for proof—I looked for the feeling. That static charge in the air when the treeline thickens. That’s where Big Foot Designs started. It’s not about merchandise; it’s about capturing a moment of wilderness and wearing it.

My philosophy is simple: One of One. In a world of mass-produced noise, I believe your second skin should be as unique as the terrain you walk. No two strokes are identical. No two drops of paint land the same way. When you wear a piece from this studio, you are wearing a singular artifact of the Pacific Northwest.

Every design is born from midnight sketches and the smell of wet cedar. I don’t use digital printers or factory lines. I use my hands, heavy cotton, and a relentless obsession with the things that go bump in the night.

The Physical Manifestation

Raw canvas fabric texture

1. The Canvas

It starts with a heavyweight cotton blank, carefully sourced for its ability to hold weight and resist the PNW mist. These aren’t just clothes; they’re armor.

Acrylic paint brush strokes

2. The Mark

Every design is worked freehand with fabric paint. No stencils, no safety nets. Each line is an intentional conversation between the brush and the weave.

3. The Set

Each piece cures for 48 hours. We don’t rush the wild. The paint bonds to the fiber in the stillness of the studio, ensuring the story lasts as long as the garment.
